Getting started with Verdly

Create your account, take your first snapshot, and start tracking your net worth in under five minutes.

Verdly is a net-worth tracker built around the idea that you, not an algorithm, decide what counts. This guide walks through creating an account, taking your first snapshot, and finding your way around the dashboard.

Create an account

Sign up at app.verdly.io. Verdly is free to use; no credit card is required.

Take your first snapshot

A snapshot is a point-in-time record of your assets and debts. Open the snapshot composer and add each account, asset, or liability you want to track. You can use any currency — Verdly converts everything to your home currency on display.

You don’t need to capture everything at once. Verdly is built around intentional, periodic check-ins; you can refine your snapshots over time.

Find your way around

The dashboard summarises where you are today. The history view shows how your net worth has moved between snapshots, and the milestones view helps you set and track personal goals.

Personalise your profile

A few settings make Verdly fit the way you think about money. Open Settings → Profile to set your home currency, your recording cadence (daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly), and details such as your retirement age and emergency fund target. Your home currency is the one every figure is converted to on display, and your cadence controls how your history is grouped — you can still record values at any time.

Under Settings → Display you can switch on dark mode and choose the colour scheme used for your dashboard charts. See managing your account for the full tour of profile, display and account settings.
